Christine

Chris joined the Lisbon Road Animal Hospital family in 1994. As an integral member of the team, her duties extend into all aspects of providing the best possible care for each and every patient. Whether assisting the doctors or counseling an owner on at home care, her patients needs always come first. Chris's main hobby and passion in life is her dogs! In her off work time, Chris can be found training her own dogs, helping others work through training issues with their dogs, traveling all over the US and Canada competing with her dogs or sitting in the whelping box with her next champion. Specializing in performance events such as agility, tracking, competitive obedience and water trials has led Chris to a great understanding and appreciation of the importance of proper conditioning and the role this plays in recovery and overall well being. The desire to help our companions really get the most out of every day of their lives, led Chris to specialize in animal physical rehabilitation and conditioning. Education has been an ongoing process for Chris. She is currently enrolled in the long distance Bachelor of Science degree program through San Juan College as well as in the Fast Track Canine Rehabilitation Program through the University of Tennessee Veterinary Department. Chris is currently Nationally Certified as a Veterinary Technician and upon completion of the UT program she will be a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. Chris resides in Bowdoinham with her husband Steve, their French Bulldog named Kermit and an assortment of Portuguese Water Dogs!
